NEWS FROM THE SECONDARY ENGLISH DEPARTMENT
Public Speaking

Becoming a confident and effective speaker is not an easy thing to achieve, and even more so in another language. However, I have to congratulate all the students who have produced their own video tutorials and reviews because they have surpassed all my expectations. With this new project we have proved that it is not necessary to make regular presentations in front of a group. There is room for imagination and fun when it comes to speaking in public. I hope to upload some of the videos to the secondary blog so you can see for yourselves just how talented our students really are, and how well their English is coming along. I must also thank all the parents who helped their sons and daughters to record and edit their videos. The camera work is outstanding, so thank you again.

Our next project will be to present current affairs news just like professional news presenters do. This will be done in pairs, and it promises to be lots of fun, as well.
