My students of Year 10 have recently completed group projects based on fashion and travel units of work.

MINERALS AND ROCKS: SCIENCE PROJECTS:

 Year 8 B

As I promised you, here you can see the results of my Year 8 students´ science projects, about Minerals and Rocks. They have done a project about their origin, different types, properties...and this week we are doing the oral presentations.

TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS: STRUCTURES.

My students of Year 8 grade have been working hard on a PPoint project about Structures. 

We learnt about the topic in class and later we´ve gone to the IT room several days for them to search for information and summarize the main ideas.

Here are the results. I think they are pretty good.

ENGLISH PROJECTS: Year 8

Around the world!!

Students have been divided into cooperative learning groups and have learnt about different cities in the world, using Internet to research the culture, food, location...

They will present their findings to the class using a Powerpoint presentation.

TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS

My students of Year 8 are doing a project about Structures, types, materials used to build them...

I have taken them to the IT room to search for information quite a few times. They have to join the information learnt in the unit with the information found on the net, summarize it, do a PPoint project and present it to their classmates and to me.

They are getting better and better at this kind of presentations. It´s good for their speaking skills.

I´ll show you the projects and some pics of their presentations soon.

GRANITO A GRANITO CONSTRUÍMOS RINCONES DE PAZ: 1º ESO

El día de la Paz, en 1º de ESO A y B, empezamos a escribir en un pequeño muro en las aulas, algunas de nuestras aportaciones diarias a la paz, y a la buena convivencia en las clases.

El alumno que recibía alguna buena acción por parte de algún compañero, la escribía en el muro, y tenía la responsabilidad de realizar otra buena acción a otro compañero de la clase.

Durante unas semanas se han dado cuenta, de manera más especial, de lo que todos podemos hacer a nuestra edad, para que nuestra vida y la de los demás, sea más agradable, al menos en el colegio, donde pasamos tantas horas a lo largo de nuestra vida. Son pequeños, y no son políticos, ni jefes de empresas, ni militares, ni profesores, ni tienen responsabilidades profesionales, pero son conscientes de que todas las personas podemos aportar nuestro granito de arena a la paz.
