HOUSE POINT SYSTEM

Todos los alumnos, padres y personal docente y no docente del colegio pueden participar en el programa de HOUSE POINT. Es un programa para implicar a toda la comunidad educativa del colegio para fomentar una competición sana.

Los puntos se otorgarán por una buena causa, una buena exposición, un trabajo brillante, o por cuidar especialmente a un compañero...cualquier actividad excepcional será valorada. Se hará un recuento mensual para ver qué casa es la ganadora.

A continuación se muestran los logos de cada casa.

TECHNOLOGY 3º ESO

En este inicio del curso los alumnos de 3º ESO están aprendiendo a dibujar objetos con sus medidas y en perspectiva con el programa de dibujo Paint,

At the beginning of this term, the students from 9th grade in Technology are using the Paint Program to draw as far as possible different objects with their measurements, which it´s more difficult than what it seems.

Aprendizaje Cooperativo-Cooperative Learning

Este curso hemos iniciado una nueva forma de trabajo en Secundaria: el Aprendizaje Cooperativo, para fomentar el trabajo en equipo, que los chicos aprendan a compartir, discutir y defender sus ideas, además de fomentar el liderazgo, el compañerismo y muchos otros valores que les permitan completar su tarea.

Cooperative learning is a method of instruction that has students working together in groups, usually with the goal of completing a specific task. This method can help students develop leadership skills and the ability to work with others as a team.

Siguiendo este método, por grupos y entre toda la clase, hemos redactado las normas de comportamiento que debemos seguir para el buen funcionamiento del grupo. Hemos hecho un poster y lo hemos colgado en clase para que nos acompañe durante todo el curso.

Recycling Project 1º ESO

The first weeks of the term we worked at the computer´s room drawing different objects with perspective using the Paint Program

After that, we learnt about Recycling, the three “Rs” which are: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, how to distinguish recyclable materials including glass, paper, metal, plastic, textiles and electronics. Also we learnt about Materials and their Properties.

Then in the Technology Room, the students built a recycling container with boxes of cardboard. This was the most difficult part for them as it was hard to think about it and figure it out with the rest of the team mates.
